Derry - Donegal Cliffs - Wild Atlantic Way
Derry - Donegal Cliffs - Wild Atlantic Way

We’ll start our journey travelling through the Sperrin mountains, the most wild mountain range in Ireland. Arriving into Derry/Londonderry for a walking tour of the Derry walls and the famous Bogside. We’ll capture the history of the civil rights march that turned into Bloody Sunday 1972, the events of which formed the inspiration for U2’s famous song ‘Bloody Sunday’. We’ll then visit the Celtic ring fort called Grianan of Aileach on our way to Donegal for some lunch. Then we’ll travel the ‘Wild Atlantic Way’ for some of the most phenomenal coast you’ll ever see on our way to visit Slieve League cliffs, the highest sea cliffs in Europe. Slieve League cliffs are 1972 feet above sea level so we recommend good footwear for this climb. On our route back to Belfast we’ll travel through gorgeous Fermanagh to get a glimpse of the vast lakes.
